Violência no ambiente escolar

Abstract

This research entitled "Violence at School" has the general objective of studying the effects of violence from students from the 1st to the 3rd year of high school, aiming at improving indiscipline in the school environment. It also had as specific objectives: To identify the causes of violence at school and its social repercussion; analyze the opinions of the participants on the researched topic and identify pedagogical strategies to be used by teachers to avoid acts of violence and reduce indiscipline at school. The chosen methodology was the qualitative approach with the use of questionnaires for data collection. I found that the cases that most occur in this educational institution are students who get involved in exchange for insults and profanity, fights, physical aggression among other occurrences that hinder the smooth running of classes, interrupting and consequently compromising learning. Through the results obtained I tried to detect the weaknesses existing in the school environment, as well as to indicate possible strategies in order to make the environment more harmonious, easing indiscipline, taking into account the importance of a democratic and emancipatory environment.
