A proteção integral no caso das medidas socioeducativas: uma análise do contexto de Campos Belos/GO

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the situation of socio-educational measures in Campos Belos, focusing on identifying whether it has in fact achieved the full protection provided for by the Child and Adolescent Statute for young people in conflict with the law. It turns out that, given the vulnerability of these young people in society, some factors need to be observed during this process, such as social inequality and the fragility of family or community ties. Adolescents complying with a socio-educational measure must also have the right to full protection assured, and it is in this sense that the National Socio-Educational Assistance System provides for multi-professional care, which works on individual and family aspects. The major concern is how to guarantee the full protection of young people in conflict with the law, considering the social factors faced in the local reality. Faced with this problem, this research will monitor the socio-educational system carried out, comparing the legal provision and what has been achieved in practice.
