dc.description.abstract	The general objective of this research is to understand how the construction of motherhood implies the experience of being a mother in women assisted by the CRAS of Ponte Alta do Tocantins. For this, Vygotsky's historical-cultural psychology will be used as a theoretical foundation, which will seek to understand how internal and external processes occur from the relationship with the environment, as well as to understand how the experience of motherhood is experienced in contexts of social vulnerability. Participated in this research, women mothers assisted by the CRAS of Ponte Alta do Tocantins - TO. Regarding the methodological course, the semi-structured interview instrument was used and for the treatment of the material obtained in the interviews, the content analysis of Bardin (1977) was performed. From the data analysis, it was possible to identify two categories of analysis, namely: perceptions about motherhood; and the relationship between motherhood and social vulnerability. It was found that there is an overload related to the maternal function, associated with domestic care and raising children. This overload is crossed by the meaning attributed to motherhood, not only by mothers, but by society as a whole. In addition, it was noticed that the condition of social vulnerability is a factor that greatly influences the experience of the mothers interviewed.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é compreender como a construção da maternidade implica na vivência do ser mãe em mulheres atendidas pelo CRAS de Ponte Alta do Tocantins. Para isso, será utilizado como fundamento teórico a psicologia histórico-cultural de Vigotski, que buscará entender como ocorrem os processos internos e externos a partir da relação com o meio, bem como compreender como a vivência da maternidade é experienciada nos contextos de vulnerabilidade social. Participaram desta pesquisa, mulheres mães atendidas pelo CRAS de Ponte Alta do Tocantins – TO. Com relação ao percurso metodológico, utilizou-se do instrumento de entrevista semiestruturada e para o tratamento do material obtido nas entrevistas, foi realizada a análise de conteúdo de Bardin (1977). A partir da análise de dados, foi possível identificar duas categorias de análise, sendo elas: as percepções sobre a maternidade; e a relação entre maternidade e vulnerabilidade social. Verificou-se que há uma sobrecarga relacionada à função materna, associada aos cuidados domésticos e à educação dos filhos. Essa sobrecarga é atravessada pelo significado que é atribuído à maternidade, não só pelas mães, mas por toda a sociedade. Além disso, percebeu-se que a condição de vulnerabilidade social é um fator que influencia bastante na vivência das mães entrevistadas.	pt_BR
