| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente relatório descreve as atividades realizadas durante o Estágio Curricular Supervisionado. O estágio foi realizado no Hospital Veterinário da Faculdade de Ciências do Tocantins em Araguaína-TO, sob a orientação da Professora Doutora Ana Paula Gering e supervisionado pela médica veterinária Karlany Silva Souza. O mesmo ocorreu no período compreendido entre 14 de agosto a 25 de outubro de 2023, com carga horária diária de 8 horas, fazendo 40 horas semanais, totalizando 400 horas. Nesse período foram atendidos 173 animais, nos quais 126 foram atendidos na clínica médica e 47 na clínica cirúrgica. O estágio foi realizado nas áreas de Clínica Médica e Clínica Cirúrgica de Pequenos Animais. O presente relatório consta com a descrição do local de estágio, as atividades desenvolvidas e a casuística acompanhada durante esse período. Posteriormente, é descrito um caso clínico de pneumotórax traumático em um cão, macho, de 1 ano e 2 meses, raça Pinscher, pesando 3.2 kg, acompanhado durante o estágio. |
| Abstract: | This report describes the activities carried out during the Supervised Curricular Internship. The internship was carried out at the Veterinary Hospital of the Faculty of Sciences of Tocantins in Araguaína-TO, under the guidance of Professor Ana Paula Gering and supervised by veterinarian Karlany Silva Souza. The same occurred in the period between August 14th and October 25th, 2023, with a daily workload of 8 hours, working 40 hours a week, totaling 400 hours. During this period, 173 animals were treated, of which 126 were treated in the medical clinic and 47 in the surgical clinic. The internship was carried out in the areas of Medical Clinic and Small Animal Surgical Clinic. This report contains a description of the internship location, the activities carried out and the cases followed during this period. Subsequently, a clinical case of traumatic pneumothorax in a male dog, 1 year and 2 months old, Pinscher breed, weighing 3.2 kg, monitored during the internship, is described. |
