Memória de assentados: percepção dos moradores sobre as políticas públicas para a região sudeste do Pará.

Abstract

The study aims to address the importance of people's memories in the Southeastern Region of Pará. At the beginning, it is about memories, their importance and what they carry as sociocultural content, being able to affirm that one of the points of a people's identity is inside of your memories. Approaching also their understanding and understanding of the public policies directed to the southeast of Pará, it is believed that these memories help to build this region and can lead to a construction of cultural identity. From this perspective, the purpose of the study was to understand the cultural aspects and saw the importance of dealing with the memories of these rural workers, men and women who, in the course of their struggles within the region, became settled. As a method for the elaboration of the study, bibliographical theoretical research and data collection were used through interviews with some residents of the region, which was carried out through research and analysis of articles and information made available on websites, magazines and books and other works that deal with the theme, being the same of great value for the financial managers and other professionals who work with companies.
