| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Este estudo busca apresentar as possibilidades didáticas do uso da História da Matemática para ensinar o conteúdo de logaritmos. Portanto, este trabalho se configura como um estudo bibliográfico, com características aplicadas, uma vez que propõe um produto final – atividades para sala de aula – que poderão ser utilizadas pelos professores para ensinar logaritmos. Tendo em vista que a História da Matemática nos mostra quais foram as necessidades da sociedade que impulsionaram novas descobertas Matemáticas, e dessa forma também poderá auxiliar o professor a organizar o ensino a partir do diálogo entre as necessidades do passado e do presente. Propomos o trabalho com os Ossos de Napier como uma inserção no estudo inicial dos logaritmos, partindo desde a construção e explicação de seu funcionamento através de exemplo. Por fim com indicação de algumas atividades como propostas para aplicações em sala. O estudo baseia-se no uso da História da Matemática no ensino. |
| Abstract: | This study aimed to present the educational possibilities of the use of mathematics in history to teach the content of logarithms. Therefore, this work is configured as a bibliographic study with applied characteristics, since it proposes a final product - activities for the classroom - that can be used by teachers to teach logarithms. Considering that the history of mathematics shows us what were the needs of society which boosted new Mathematical discoveries, and thus may also help teachers to organize teaching from the dialogue between the past and the present needs. We propose working with Napier's Bones as an insert in the initial study of logarithms, starting from the construction and explanation of its operation by example. Finally indicating some activities such as proposals for room applications. The study is based on the use of history of mathematics teaching. |
