| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O estudo doutoral atende à área de saberes e linguagem. Seguiu a linha de pensamento da fenomenologia; o tipo de pesquisa foi exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa e delineamento de estudo de caso. A fenomenologia estuda a essência e a manifestação das coisas, ou seja, tudo aquilo que se pode perceber do objeto ou do fenômeno por meio dos sentidos. O lócus da pesquisa é o município de Dianópolis, Tocantins, especificamente o polo da Universidade da Maturidade, tendo como participantes os acadêmicos que atuaram como cursistas na formação de monitores de turismo. Questão norteadora: Como a formação em turismo de experiência possibilita o acesso ao mercado de trabalho para os participantes deste estudo? Objetivo geral: construir uma análise da formação educacional de monitores em turismo na Universidade da Maturidade de Dianópolis, estado do Tocantins, região amazônica. Objetivos específicos: apresentar o Projeto Político-Pedagógico (PPP), a educação para pessoas idosas, o envelhecimento humano, a inovação educacional e social, e o empreendedorismo; compreender, por meio do turismo de experiência, as possibilidades existentes em Dianópolis a partir da atuação dos acadêmicos idosos da Universidade da Maturidade no estado do Tocantins; analisar as possibilidades de empreender a partir da formação educacional dos idosos como monitores de turismo de experiência, bem como a formação ofertada pela UMA de Dianópolis – TO. O curso foi ofertado a 30 acadêmicos. A formação representa uma oportunidade para que esses participantes possam atuar, futuramente, como profissionais na área do turismo de experiência, tanto em Dianópolis quanto em outras regiões do Tocantins. Trata-se de mais um produto da Universidade da Maturidade, uma tecnologia social e educacional voltada para pessoas idosas, desenvolvida no estado do Tocantins, região amazônica. |
| Abstract: | The doctoral study is in knowledge, language and education, in the line of research: educational practices; intergenerational education; gerontology. The research was exploratory, with a qualitative approach and took the form of a case study, using the phenomenological method. Phenomenology studies the essence and manifestation of things, i.e. everything that can be perceived about the object or phenomenon through the senses. The locus of the research is the municipality of Dianópolis, specifically the hub of the University of Maturity, and the students who took part in the training course for tourism monitors. Guiding question: Is the experience tourism monitor course an educational training that guarantees a future job offer, aiming to undertake with/for old/elderly people in Tocantins? Thesis argument: The course for experience tourism monitors for older people, students at the University of Maturity in Dianópolis, could be a possibility of improvement and performance for people to work as professionals in experience tourism in the future in Dianópolis and other regions of Tocantins. General objective: To discuss the implementation and evaluation of the educational training of monitors in experience tourism developed at the University of Maturity in Dianópolis, state of Tocantins, in the Amazon region. Specific objectives: To discuss education for older people, human ageing, educational and social innovation, and entrepreneurship; To understand, through experience tourism, the possibilities that exist in Dianópolis, based on the work of older academics from the University of Maturity in the state of Tocantins; To analyze the likelihood of entrepreneurship based on the educational training of older people as experience tourism monitors, as well as the educational training offered at the UMA in Dianópolis - TO. The course was offered to 30 students from a macro group of 61 students. The students carried out the relevant activities by the syllabus for each module. They consider themselves to be prepared to work in the field of tourism, and the thesis argument was answered positively, i.e. the training on offer is a possibility for people to improve and perform as professionals in the field of experiential tourism in the future in Dianópolis and other regions of Tocantins. It is yet another product of the University of Maturity, a social and educational technology for older people, developed in the state of Tocantins, in the Amazon region. |
