O ensino de geografia pós pandemia da Covid-19: dificuldades enfrentadas por professores e alunos no Colégio Estadual Dr. Pedro Ludovico Teixeira de Porto Nacional - TO

Abstract

This article addresses the teaching of Geography after the COVID-19 pandemic (between March 2020 and March 2021), focusing on the difficulties faced by teachers and students at Colégio Estadual Dr. Pedro Ludovico Teixeira. The general objective of this article is to describe what the coronavirus pandemic was and how it directly or indirectly affected teaching at Colégio Estadual Dr. Pedro Ludovico Teixeira. The specific objectives are: To understand the changes in education after the pandemic; to report how the pandemic affected the lives of students and teachers; to identify the barriers to the learning process in remote teaching. Throughout the article, some important points are highlighted that may have made this moment in education more difficult, such as the lack of structure at the school, the low effectiveness of

the online environment, the impact of social inequality, among others. At another time, the post- pandemic period left several marks on education, such as school dropouts, the difficulties that

some students faced in readapting to in-person teaching, the delay in learning development, and the difficulty in concentrating on the content. The methodology used was qualitative research with semi-structured interviews, with the aim of collecting data from teachers and students of a specific education network, thus being able to closely observe what were the main barriers to the learning process faced by both sides during this period.
