O Serviço Social na efetivação da Política Nacional de Assistência Social no município de Miranorte–TO

Abstract

This paper presents the results obtained related to the effectiveness of the public policy of social assistance in the municipality of Miranorte - TO, constituting a study with the Center of Reference in Social Assistance - urban CRAS and steering wheel in the year 2017. Thus, on the changes that occurred after the approval of the National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS) in 2004, establishing itself as a member of the social security tripod. The purpose of this study was to analyze PNAS 'effectiveness in the municipality of Miranorte - TO in the perception of the social workers of CRAS in the year 2017. The specific objectives were to identify the challenges faced by the social workers of CRAS aiming to consolidate the Assistance Social as a public policy; To know the reality experienced by professionals in the implementation of PNAS; Map the programs and actions developed by CRAS in the scope of social assistance policy. The research was performed through the semi-structured interview, in which it allowed to obtain data of qualitative character. The method of analysis was based on dialectical historical materialism.
