O discurso autoritário de Bolsonaro e seus impactos sociais e educacionais

Abstract

This is a monograph work presented as a criterion for the conclusion of the course, of Pedagogy, by the Federal University of Tocantins, University Campus of Miracema, it aims to identify and analyze the authoritarian perspectives present in the speeches of President Bolsonaro and their impacts on society and the education. Specifically, we analyze the speech given by the current President of the Republic of Brazil, on September 7, 2021, the date on which the Independence of Brazil is celebrated. From there, we reflect on the repercussions in the social environment, as well as these impacts on education, considering that Bolsonaro does not show appreciation for this area. We also aim to understand the historical perspective of politics structured in authoritarianism, something quite clearly flirted with by the President. To do so, we want to point out some possibilities for changing this situation, from the point of view of the educational field, and highlight other Bolsonaro speeches that slip directly into his attempt to impose an authoritarian system on his government. Our study methodology is based on arche-genealogy, since the theoretical contribution we are guided by seeks to highlight the regime of truth, knowledge and power that constitutes such Bolsonarist discourse. Therefore, we will base ourselves on the conceptual foundations of Discourse Analysis, in particular, under the tutelage of the following authors: Michel Foucault, Cleudemar Fernandes, Vanice Sargentini, Maria do Rosário Gregolim, Eni Orlandi, among others. It is important to emphasize that, in order to analyze these speeches, it is necessary to relate them to several other theories, such as history, memory, subject, etc., and, specifically, to think about the relationship of an authoritarian regime, that is, a dictatorship like the one we live in Brazil from 1964 to mid-1985, correlate it with the present, from a perspective of its construction, and reflect on how authoritarianism, presented in the behavior and speech of the current President, has manifested itself. Therefore, it is necessary to understand how the process of dictatorship and democracy took place in the country, the whole context of authoritarianism in the period of the Military Regime, how education was dismembered, the methods of imposing obedience to society, in addition to highlighting the impacts of this for the educational field and for society in general. We also highlight the speeches of Jair Messias Bolsonaro, the current ruler of Brazil, which are authoritarian in terms of his lack of commitment to our democracy, which is at all times being a reason for struggle, demonstrations to maintain it. Finally, we try to point out the consequences of the Bolsonarist effect and its mismanagement and the result of this in the 2022 elections.
