| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O Estágio Curricular Supervisionado em Medicina Veterinária foi realizado no Hospital Veterinário Indaiatuba – EQUIVET, no período de 20 de janeiro a 29 de março de 2021, contemplando a carga horária total de 392 horas. Durante o estágio foram acompanhados 54 casos, sendo as afecções do sistema gastrintestinal as de maior ocorrência. O relato de caso refere-se a uma potra, Mangalarga Marchador, 4 dias de idade, diagnosticada com uroperitônio. Foram realizados exame clínico, glicemia, dosagem de lactato, hematócrito e proteína plasmática total, bioquímica sérica e avaliação do fluido peritoneal para confirmação diagnóstica. O prognóstico foi ruim, optando-se pela eutanásia do animal, seguida de exame post-mortem. |
| Abstract: | The Supervised Curricular Internship in Veterinary Medicine was held at Hospital Veterinário Indaiatuba - EQUIVET, from January 20 to March 29, 2021, covering a total workload of 392 hours. During the internship, 54 cases were followed up, with gastrointestinal system disorders being the most common. The case report refers to a foal, Mangalarga Marchador, 4 days old diagnosed with uroperitoneum. Clinical examination, blood glucose, lactate, hematocrit and total proteins, serum biochemistry and evaluation of peritoneal fluid were performed for diagnostic confirmation. The prognosis was poor, with the animal being euthanized, followed by post-mortem examination. |
