dc.description.abstract	The aim of this article was understanding the perception of the businessmen from Araguaína - TO, in respect the competences developed by the logistics professional graduated at the Federal University - UFT. The study is characterized as a qualitative research where four businessmen were interviewed of the county, of different segments. It was verified through the analysis of the research that there lacks at the regional market logistics professinal and the businessmen realize necessity of them; at the same time there is few or no knowlwdge about the Logistics Course offer, offered by the UFT, which hinders the integration of professionals in the labor Market. It should be noted that logistical knowledge comes from other regions of the country. So, with the results of the research become possible to present to the businesmen the Logistics Course and qualified professional to perform the logistics activities.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O objetivo deste artigo foi compreender a percepção dos empresários de Araguaína - TO, em relação às competências desenvolvidas pelo profissional de logística graduados na Universidade Federal do Tocantins – UFT. O estudo caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa onde foram entrevistas 4 empresários do município, de distintos segmentos. Verificou-se através da análise da pesquisa que o mercado regional é carente de profissionais de logística e que os empresários compreendem a necessidade destes; ao mesmo tempo há pouco ou não se tem conhecimento da oferta do Curso de Logística, oferecido pela UFT, o que dificulta a inserção dos profissionais no mercado de trabalho. Destaca-se ainda que o conhecimento logístico advém de outras regiões do país. Desta forma, com os resultados da pesquisa tornou-se possível apresentar aos empresários o Curso de Logística e os profissionais qualificados para desempenhar as atividades logísticas.	pt_BR
